Chinese Glass Overlay Snuff Bottle - Chinese snuff bottle in white glass with a blue glass overlay. Two long sides with stylized calligraphy and the two short sides with mask-form handles. Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985. Height: 3 in x width: 1 3/4 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: There are no major chips, cracks or signs of restoration under UV light. There is a minute hairline crack near the edge of the lid. There is a red marking along the neck. There is dust accrued along the recessed areas. There are minute losses throughout the surface. There is light wear to the footrim.
