Chinese Hongmu Low-back Armchair - Ming-style Chinese rosewood Hongmu low-back armchair. A ”Southern official's hat armchair” with a straight back-rail above an S-curved splat. The splat with a carved medallion in low relief. The arms with a gentle S-curve and with tapering brackets. Cylindrical legs joined by a plain apron, stretchers, and a footrest.
