Attrib Jens Christian Bennedsen Landscape Painting - Attributed to Jens Christian Bennedsen (Danish, 1893-1967). Oil painting on canvas depicting sheaves of wheat in a field, adjacent to a riverside, surrounded by mountains and billowing clouds. Signed along the lower right. Height: 9 1/2 in x width: 14 in. Condition: No visible restoration under UV light. The surface is stable. There is minute craquelure throughout. There are gold accretions along the top extreme edge. There is light wear to the extreme edges of the canvas. Along the verso, there are losses to the wooden stretcher bars. One stretcher key is missing.
