Continental School Impressionist Painting of Ship - Impressionist Continental School oil on canvas painting depicting a harbor with ships on the water. Unsigned. Height: 27 in x width: 35 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. The surface is stable. There are several areas, primarily along the bottom of the left quadrant, and the edges of the image, where the canvas underneath is visible. There is craquelure throughout. There are two horizontal lines of discoloration along the length of the canvas along the top margin. Along the verso there is soiling and discoloration. The extreme edges of the exposed canvas have wear and soiling.
