Cheyenne Native American Doll - Southern plains doll, likely Cheyenne, with beaded hide vest, fringed leggings, tanned hide head, hat and yellow ochre moccasins. Dressed with a cotton beaded shirt and a muslin body. Thread sewn throughout except for the moccasins which are sinew sewn. Remnants of horse hair on top of the head, ca.1880s-1890s.
