Pair 19th c. Chinese Yolk Back Hardwood Armchairs
Pair of early 19th century Chinese yolk back hardwood armchairs with curved top rail extending beyond round stiles above single-panel wood seats set within the rectangular frame. Plain elmwood back splat with shaped apron, rounded legs.
Provenance: The collection of Bruce Dayton and Ruth Stricker Dayton - Selections from The Marsh, Minnetonka, Minnesota.
Each, height: 46 in x width: 25 in x depth: 17 1/2 in.
Condition: Good condition overall; wear consistent with age and use. Finished stripped, sun bleached.
