Shufu Miyamoto "Shadows on the Water" Woodblock
Shufu Miyamoto (Japanese, b. 1950). Woodblock print titled "Shadows on the Water, " depicting a rural Japanese home with thatched roof against a pond, 1985. Titled along the lower center, pencil signed and dated along the lower right, and numbered 92/180 along the lower left. With a label from Gallery B.O.Q. along the verso.
Sight; height: 16 3/4 in x width: 12 3/4 in. Framed; height: 22 1/4 in x width: 17 1/2 in.
Condition: No visible tears, losses or restoration under UV light. There are minute creases along upper left quadrant and upper right margin. There is a minute crease along the lower left margin. The sheet is slightly toned throughout. There is minute foxing along the lower left margin. There is a minute green accretion along the lower right margin, most likely from the original artwork. Framed under plexiglass. Wear to the frame. Not examined out of frame.
