Montas Antoine Oil on Board Painting
Montas Antoine (Haitian, 1926-1988). Oil on board painting depicting figures working and playing amongst a grove of trees and in the sea while red birds watching from the treetops. Signed along the lower right.
Sight; height: 15 1/2 in x width: 19 1/4 in. Framed; height: 18 1/4 in x width: 22 1/4 in.
Condition: The painting is in good condition with no visible tears or restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. The surface is stable, but the canvas is loose on the frame. Along the extreme edges, there are several areas that lost paint against the frame. Very light wear to the frame. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
