Kaj Franck Nuutajarvi Cocktail Party Set
Kaj Franck (Finnish, 1911-1989) for Nuutajarvi, Notsjo, Finland. Mid-century Modern glass party cocktail set including one pitcher and 12 glasses in six colors, two of each color - gray, green, teal, blue, purple, and red, ca. 1954. With a carrying case decorated throughout with penguins. The glasses in a 'kartio' shape, which is Finnish for cone. With the original paper insert.
Pitcher; height: 9 in x diameter: 3 1/4 in. Glasses; height: 2 1/2 in x diameter: 2 3/4 in.
Condition: The item is in good condition. The glass pitcher has no visible chips, cracks, or losses. Only one of the dark purple cups has a minute chip along the side. No visible sign of restoration.
