Tibetan 19th c. Coral & Brass Necklace
Tibetan 19th century necklace consisting of twelve trapezoidal, one rounded, and two triangular brass segments. Each with a three-dimensional figure rising from it inset with coral. The two triangular panels have a dancing Buddha figure while all other pieces have a seated Buddha figure. Two triangular panels and one round panel additionally have swirling brass ornamentation.
Diameter: 10 1/2 in.
Condition: The necklace is in fair condition overall with no major damage that affects the overall piece. As expected, heavy wear and oxidation throughout. Some jewels are missing or damaged. There are several areas with glue residue that seems to be a restoration attempt. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
