Mughal Composite Camel Drawing
Mughal drawing in pencil, watercolor, and ink, with gold foil accents throughout depicting a composite camel comprised of figures and creatures interwoven. A demonic fanged figure leads the camel while a winged angelic figure, Peri, sits atop it playing a string instrument. Likely 19th century.

Sight; height: 13 in x width: 9 in. Framed; height: 17 1/2 in x width: 13 1/2 in.
Condition: The drawing is in good condition with no major tears, creases, or visible losses. The paper is toned. There is a horizontal impression to the lower part of the painting, most likely from the verso. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. It is framed under plexiglass.
