Each earring is crafted in the form of an owl, featuring silver-toned metal settings. The head and eye area are composed of mother-of-pearl, accented by dark, circular pupils of onyx. The body is formed from polished, segmented pieces of banded natural shell in shades of brown and cream consistent with cowrie shell.
