Professor Gould collected heavily during the last quarter of the 20th century, when excellent examples of currencies, textiles, bronze ornaments and terracotta were still available in Africa. Indeed, some of the pieces offered in this auction have been exhibited at academic institutions and/or galleries in North America. Take this final opportunity to acquire items from Professor Gould?s collection, much of which hasn?t been available on the market for more than a quarter century.
