Our final auction of African material culture from the estate of legendary New York collector, Professor Philip Gould (1922 - 2019) Featuring rare and authentic examples of 3rd - 10th century Coptic textiles, early 20th century West African textiles, 19th and early 20th century metal currencies and ornaments, 13th - 17th century West African terracotta, as well as an assortment of more recent wood figures, masks, jewelry, and tribal books and catalogs.
