Tomasch, Elmer - oil on canvas, good condition, 24x48. - Family is an oil on canvas, unsigned and in good condition and measures 24x48. Elmer Tomasch (1914-1977) was a painter, sculptor and graduate of the Cleveland School of Art and Western Reserve Univ. Received his master's degree from Kansas State College. Taught at Cleveland Public School, at Lake Placid, and joined the faculty at Kansas State Univ., Manhattan in 1947. Worked in commercial illustration. Member of the Prairie Water Color Painters.
