Harris, Narri, stoneware teapot and saucer with 4 cups - Narri Harris, stoneware teapot and saucer with 4 cups, signed on bottoms, good condition, no chips or cracks, size: teapot, 9.25 x 8.5 x 6 inches; saucer, 1 x 6 x 6. inches; 4 cups, 3 x 3.25 x 3.25 inches each. Narrie Amanda Harris, a native Kansan, was born in 1951. Her studies include a B.S. in Art Education from Kansas State University in 1973 and additional study at Adams State University, Alamosa, Colorado, and Utah State University, Salt Lake City, Utah. Narrie produced work which was primarily functional in nature. Both high fire reduction stoneware and porcelain are produced in her studio. Her bowls and plates have graceful form and she decorates open areas in her work. Narrie participated in craft shows across the USA.
