Ern Hett, (1922-1997) metal sculpture, oil pump folkart good condition, artist's sticker on bottom, sculpture size: 3.5 x 11.25 x 2.25 inches. Hett was born in Marion, Ks and was a creative man. Hett was an farmer and could fix anything on the farm, and in the winter months, he would tinker in his shop and build sculptures and figurines. He created these out of nuts and bolts and materials he found laying around.
