First edition of the Chumash Torah Temima by Rabbi Baruch HaLevi Epstein of Pinsk. - First edition of the Chumash Torah Temima by Rabbi Baruch HaLevi Epstein of Pinsk. Set of five volumes of the monumental work Torah Temima, by Rabbi Baruch HaLevi Epstein of Pinsk, son of Rabbi Yehiel Michal HaLevi Epstein, author of the Aruch HaShulchan. First edition, Vilna 1902. The author worked for 15 years on this important work before seeing it published by the Room publishers in Vilna, after which the work was read and used by talmidei chachamim and commentators. Overall very good condition (not checked on a page-by-page basis). The volume of Genesis includes “Torah Or”, the first translation of the commentary by Rabbi Shimshon Refael Hirsch on the Chumash (the translation was published only on Parshat Bereishit and the beginning of Noach).
