At the end of the book: Kuntres Gan Hamelech – Piskei Dinim and some rules and separate issues and some comments. Rabbi Avraham ben Rabbi Mordechai Halevi [1650-1704]: one of the sages of Egypt and the Rav of Cairo. His book Ginat Veradim is highly valued by leading sages. Some of them (like Rabbi Akiva Eiger and others) wrote glosses on it. בשער הספר חתימת בעלים 'חנני אלוקי בזה הק' הירש בן המנוח מוה' מאיר טרויב זצ”ל'. הגאון רבי הירש טרויב היה רבה של מאנהיים שבגרמניה. בתקופה מסוימת כיהן לצדו הרב יעקב אטלינגר בעל ערוך לנר כרב כרב הקלויז וכר”מ. נלחם רבות בתנועת הרפורמה ומכתב חריף ממנו נדפס בספר תורת הקנאות (אמ”ד תר”ה). הסכמה ממנו נדפסה בספר שדה חיים, רעדעלהיים תר”ה. הגאון רבי הירש טרויב עמד בקשר קרוב עם רבנים אחרים בגרמניה ודעתו הייתה חשובה ונשמעת אצל רבים מהם. נפטר בקיץ של שנת תר”ט.
