The Gaon Rabbi Yitzhak Navon (1733-1787) was the third generation of a family of rabbis whose wisdom illuminated the Middle East and Jerusalem. His father was the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda and his grandfather was the Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Navon, author of Machaneh Ephraim.
