Historical book recording the personal and family history as well as the Torah legacy of Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch. The book features some of Rabbi Hirsch’s Torah discourses and educational philosophies and recounts his influence beyond the borders of Germany. It also includes an extensive bibliography of early editions of his published books and writings accompanied by rare portraits.
Among the photos is a picture of his grandfather Harav Menachem Mendel Frankfurter; a portrait of his parents; and photos of Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch during different time periods in his life.
