R. Yissachar Shlomo Teichtal (1885-1945), was born in Hungary into a well-known family and studied in the Pressburg Yeshiva. He received Semicha at the age of 21 from R. Shmuel Rosenberg of Unsdorf and R. Mordechai Leib Winkler of Ma’ad. After marrying the daughter of R. Dovid Friedman, Rov of Tzelem, he served as Dayan and Rosh Yeshiva in Pishtian, Czechoslovakia. He was murdered in 1945. He was a prolific writer and authored a number of important works including responsa Mishnah Sachir and Eim Ha’Banim Smeichah concerning the Jewish people and their relationship with Eretz Yisroel. R. Yitzchok Weiss (1873-1942), was a son of R. Yeshaya Yissachar (Ber) Weiss, (one of the distinguished Talmidei Chachomim and community leaders in Pressburg). He was a talmid of the Shevet Sofer and was famous from a young age as a great Talmid Chochom. He served as a Magid shiur in Pressburg and later as Rov in Kadelburg. In 1916, he was appointed as Rosh Beis Din in Verbau where he served until the Holocaust. He authored several seforim including Avnei Bais Ha’Yoitzer, Siach Yitzchok, Binah L’Ittim and Elef Ksav. Brother of R. Sheftel Weiss, the renowned Shimina Rov. הרה”צ רבי שמואל זאנוויל גליקליך הי”ד. חתן הרה”צ רבי יחיאל לאבין האדמו”ר ממאקאווא –[חותן הרה”ק רבי אהרן קדוש ד' מבעלזא זי”ע]. תלמיד חכם מובהק, התעטר בכתר הוראה מבעל ה'לבושי מרדכי' ממאד שכותב עליו: ”קנקן חדש מלא ישן, לא ראיתי כמוהו”. מוזכר בספרי שו”ת של גדולי דורו בשאלותיו בדקדוקי תורה והלכה. נהרג בשואה על קדושת שמו בשנת תש”ג.
