Hagaon Harav Binyamin Zev Wolf Breier (1830-1893) was Av Beis Din of Tab and one of the noted disciples of the Ksav Sofer. In his generation, he was regarded as one of the greatest authors of halachic responsa in Hungary, as evident from the extensive correspondence with Hungarian sages documented in his Nachalas Binyamin.  In 1857, he assumed the position of Av Beis Din of Rogensdorf, and circa 1871, relocated to Tab where he served as Rav until his passing in 1893.
