A very important letter from the Rabbi Reuven Grozovsky - in which he asks Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rubin to publish on the radio the situation of the Yeshiva - Beit Yitzchak Kamenitz 1942 - A very important letter from the Rabbi Reuven Grozovsky - in which he asks Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rubin to publish on the radio the situation of the Yeshiva - Beit Yitzchak Kamenitz 1942 R. Refoel Reuven Grozovsk y (1886-1958), was a son of R. Shimshon Grozovsky, Dayan in Minsk. He learned in the Slabodka Yeshiva where he became known as an outstanding Lamdan. In 1919, he married the daughter of R. Boruch Ber Leibowitz. He was a talmid of R. Boruch Ber and later assisted his father in law in the Yeshiva. Upon arriving to America in the middle of the war, he became extremely active in the Va’ad Hatzola in an effort to save Jews from the Holocaust. Later he served as Rosh yeshiva in Torah Vo’daas and Beis Medrash Elyon. His seforim Chidushei R. Rueven are widely studied in Yeshivos.
