The Holy Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel Tenenbaum Av Beis Din and Ram of Torno [1862-1944] the son of the holy Gaon the author of Nahar Afarsemon and the son-in-law of his uncle the famed holy Gaon the Neta Sorek. One of the greatest rabbis of Hungary who was revered by the Tzaddikim of his generation. The holy Gaon of Shinava ordered to give him Pitka'os. He was also honored during the Chupah of the daughter of the holy Gaon of Munktach. Was known as the Tzaddik of Torno. חתימת ”הק' מנחם מענדל בהגאון מו”ה יעקב זצוקלל”ה טענענבוים ” גם חתימת חתנו רבי שמשון נייפעלד מישקאלץ” הגאון רבי שמשון נייפעלד הי”ד ראב”ד מישקאלץ [תר”מ-תש”ד], בן רבי צבי נייפעלד מסעליש וחתן של הגאון רבי מנחם מנדל טננבוים אב”ד טארנא. תלמיד ה”שבט סופר” מפרשבורג. בטארנא ניהל ישיבה והרביץ תורה תלמידים. משנת תרס”ה כיהן ברבנות עיר אישדיער. בשנת תרפ”ה התמנה לראב”ד במישקולץ. שמו מוזכר בספרי שו”ת רבני הונגריה. נרצח עקד”ה באושוויץ.
