Rare edition, with the rare leaf of pictures at the beginning of the book. the pictures imply the titles of the books: Simlah Chadasha, Tevu'ot Shor and Bechor Shor. Above each picture, the verse on which the title was based, with asterisks implying the year of printing. The holy Gaon Rabbi Hillel Pollack was rabbi of Sasregen, a primary disciple of the Chatam Sofer, who was called ”Kodesh Hillulim” by his rabbi. He was born in 1810 and orphaned at a young age. He moved to Pressburg where he studied under the Chatam Sofer.
