Rabbi david - the son of Rabbi Moshe Teomim (1825 - 1887), His father was the Av Beis Din of Horodenka and a prestigious Galician leader. He was sought after even by great Chassidic leaders who would come to him for words of advice. He served first as Av Beis Din of Yavrov and later of Horodenka, where he served for thirty years. His novellae were published in Responsa Dvar Moshe, Responsa Orein Talitai, Ohel Moshe, Milei D'Pischa and Sfas Emes.
