At the top of the book's cover, in the frame, is the signature "Chaim Sofer" the famous Mahana chaim.

On the seal is the signature of his son Rabbi Moshe David Sofer Abd Sasregen

Also signed there are his sons, Rabbi Yaakov Shalom Abd Fest, author of Torah Chaim, and Rabbi Binyamin Ze'ev Sofer

The back cover page is full of the praises of R. Chaim, written by his student at the Munkatch yeshiva

HaGaon HaKodosh Rabbainu Chaim Sofer [1822-1886], author of sefer 'Machaneh Chaim', from the great Poskim of Hungarian Jewry and prominent and leading fighter of the separation for the communities following the Chasam Sofers methodologies. He continued the Holy methods of his Rabbi and fought for G-d's sake with strength to separate the Neological communities.
He had his Bris Milah on the holy laps of Moron Chasam Sofer, and when he was 11 years entered to learn in his Yeshiva, until the passing of his Rabbi. After he learned for a short while by his son the 'Kesav Sofer'. He also learned by Moron Maharam A"sh, and Hgh"k Rabbi Binyamin Wolf Lev author of "Sha'arei Torah". After serving as Rav in many prominent communities he was appointed Rav in Munkatch, from the great communities in Hungary in that time.
