Was born to his father Rabbi Yechiel Michl in Darshonishok (near Vilna). In his youth he studied Torah in several yeshivas among them Shklov with his revered Rabbi the Maharil Diskin. In 1923, he immigrated to the land of Israel and settled in Jerusalem. He passed away on 5 Iyar 1936 and was buried on the Mount of Olives.
