He studied under his uncle Harav Yehoshua Aharon Tzvi Weinberger, Av Beis Din of Margereten, and received semichah from the Yitav Lev. He also served as Av Beis Din in Kerestir, Nigerest, and Bania. The vast majority of his writings and responsa were lost in the Holocaust.
