A personal and historical letter from Rabbi Ahron Roth, author of ”Shomer Emunim” - to the Rebbetzin - A personal and historical letter from Rabbi Ahron Roth, author of ”Shomer Emunim” - to the Rebbetzin Rabbi Ahron Roth, author of ”Shomer Emunim” [1894-1947], was born in Ungvar and learned in the Weizen yeshiva. He later drew close to chassidut and served the Admors of Kosson, Belz, Vishnitz and others. He primarily studied under Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Shapira of Blazowa who encouraged him to serve as Admor. He attracted groups of followers in Satmar, then Beregszász and Eretz Yisrael. His focus was the observance of a lifestyle based on unique decrees, primarily in regards to purity and passionate prayer.
