Torah words and innovations Two pages in the sacred handwriting of The holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Chortkov ”Innovations that I made in the year 1905” - together with a letter with his signature  - Bad Reichenhall 1929 The holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Chortkov [1854-1934] the son of Rabbi David Moshe of Chortkov and the son-in-law of his uncle the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura. His mother was the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl. Thousands came to his court, headed by leading rabbis, Poskim and Geonim. Was one of the founders of the worldwide Agudas Yisroel, which he saw as a way to raise the horn of the Torah and Jewry everywhere and bring Yisroel closer to their Father in Heaven. Was president of Mo'etzes Gedolei HaTorah.
