Rabbi Avraham Moshe's father was the Gaon the Aderes, Rabbi Eliyahu David Rabinowitz Te'omim, Av Beis Din of Ponovezh and Mir and the assitant of Rabbi Shmuel Salant in the rabbinate of Jerusalem.
