Rabbi Mordechai Vorhand (1885 - 1945), was the son of Rabbi Moshe Vorhand, Av Beis Din of Makova and a son-in-law of Rabbi Yehuda Lichtenstein, Av Beis Din of Betlan, where he served as a Dayan. He was a disciple of Rabbi Eliezer Deutsch author of Pri HaSadeh . Following his father's relocation from Nitra to Makova, he succeeded his rabbinical position in Nitra. He perished in the Holocaust. He published Kinyan Chaddash – which includes a eulogy of the Pri Hasadeh, and Be'er Mordechai on Yoreh Dei'ah. Pages: [16], 167, 1. Size: 30 cm Condition: Very fine condition.
