Letter for REFUAH signed by the Admo"r Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov. Brooklyn, New York, 1972. to rabbi Gedalya Schneider
Letter for REFUAH signed by the Admo"r Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov. Brooklyn, New York, 1972.

Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam, the Admo"r of Bobov [1908-2000], son of Rabbi Ben Tziyon of Bobov, author of Kedushat Tziyon, was named after the founder of the dynasty, Rabbi Shomo of Bobov, son of Rabbi Meir Nassan Halberstam, son of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. Rabbis of Galicia granted him rabbinic ordination in his youth, and in 1931 he already began to serve as a rabbi in Bobov. He was miraculously saved from the Nazi inferno and immigrated to the United states in 1946. He revived Bobov Chassidism after the Holocaust and turned it into a Chassidic empire.
