Rare Chassidic siddur, unknown in bibliographic literature: Siddur Beit Yosef, nusach Sfard, Vienna 1920, with divrei torah from Chassidic sages. - The Siddur of Beit Yosef, the Sephardic version, ”compiled from the Arizal’s siddur, and from all the siddurim based on his holy words with the explanation of the meaning of the plain sense ... In addition, there is a valuable commentary called Mekor Haim collecting a variety of issues and commentaries from many tzaddikim and chassidim…accompanied at the end by a book of Psalms with ideas drawn from the Mekor Chaim ... ”- Vienna, publishing house of Rabbi Yosef Schlesinger in 1920. [1], 4-20, 381, 13, 112, 40 pages. Overall good condition. A special siddur, important and interesting, with many Hassidic additions, a prayer before the prayer for Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk, Tikkun Shabbat, the Shema of the Ari and more. Throughout the Siddur and Tehillim, commentary called the ”Mekor Chaim” with Divrei Torah and Chasidut from the Ba'al Shem Tov and his disciples, Kedushat Levi, Maor Eynim, Degel Machane Efrayim, etc. In all of the listings, this siddur appears in the Ashkenazi style printed in Vienna in that year, is not listed anywhere in its Sefardi form and does not appear in catalogs and libraries throughout the country, only a later edition printed in 1935 appears in the National Library, but the copy before us here is missing.
