אדמו”ר רשכבה”ג יעקב יצחק שליט”א ממקארוב - עצמות יוסף עותק הרה”ק רבי יעקב יצחק ממקארוב ששלח לבית מדרשו בצפת - Many ancient signatures and stamps from the Beit Midrash of Makarov in Safed. The Makarov Beit Midrash in the Bar Yochai Alley of Safed was founded by the Admor's disciples. The Admor Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Twersky of Makarov, son of the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Makarov, son of Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl. One of the foremost Admors of his generation, born to his father Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Makarov and married the daughter of Rabbi Shmuel Abba Shapira of Slavuta, the grandson of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz. He was the grandson of the 'Chozeh of Lublin' who is reported to have foretold before his (grandson's) birth that he would be named after him and would be similar to him in both physical appearance and behavior, and indeed, he was very similar in appearance to his grandfather the Chozeh of Lublin, and was named after him Yaakov Yitzchak son of Matil [refer to Alfasi, HaChozeh MiLublin, pages 206-208]. He died in 1892.
