An erratic and prayerful Siddur of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda Meltzer - An erratic and prayerful Siddur of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda Meltzer The Ga’on Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda Meltzer (1899-1969), eldest son of the Ga’on Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, and disciple of the Alter of Novardok. Son-in-law of the Ga’on Rabbi Tzvi Shteinman (passed away in 1947), rabbi of Rechovot. Served as chief rabbi of Pardes Chana where he founded the Kletzk Yeshiva which was the basis for Midrishiyat No’am in Pardes Chana. In 1947 moved to Rechovot and succeeded his father-in-law in the rabbinate of the city, where he established Yeshivat HaDarom, and after devoting himself to the Yeshiva, resigned from the rabbinate of Rechovot and passed it on to Rabbi Elimelech Bar-Shaul, whereas he remained only in position of Av Beit Din.
