Colonial Revival Stained Hardwood Spinet Desk - This Colonial Revival style spinet desk is constructed of stained hardwood with a dark walnut-toned finish. Modeled after the form of a square piano, the desk features a hinged flip-top that opens to reveal an interior workspace. The interior gallery includes two sets of scalloped pigeonhole compartments flanking a small central drawer with a turned wood knob. A retractable fold-out writing surface is situated below the storage compartments. The desk is supported by four heavily turned spindle or bobbin legs and features a decorative scalloped apron across the front. The back of the desk is unfinished wood.
