Drexel Guildhall Collection Extension Dining Table with 6 Cane Back Chairs - A dining room suite from the Drexel Guildhall collection, constructed of oak or pecan with a honey-toned finish. The set includes an oval extension dining table, two armchairs, 4 side chairs, and two additional table leaves. The table top is finished with a radial sunburst veneer and features a deep apron embellished with a repeating carved blind arcade motif. The chairs are designed with high rectangular backs featuring inset caned panels and arched crest rails with scrolled ears. The frames are supported by cabriole-style legs joined by undulating H-shaped stretchers. The chair seats are upholstered in a blue, pink, and cream plaid fabric (clean no smell home, but they did have cats). Construction features include metal table slides, wooden cleats, and dowel joinery. The underside of the table top is stenciled with 762-330-3 GUILDHALL BY DREXEL. Handwritten markings in marker include 151- and 23287. Table length: 63 inches Table width: 43.5 inches Table leaf width: 18.5 inches.
