Signatures and Glosses by Rabbi Feivel Plaut, student of Chasam Sofer. - Sefer R”i Megash , Levuv 1809, signed 3 times by Rabbi Feivel Flaut and also has a few short glosses written by him. Rabbi Chizkiya Feiwel Plaut , Rabbi of Šurany (1818-1895) was born in Kalin. He was one of the foremost disciples of the Chasam Sofer. Author of ”Likutei Chaver ben Chaim” - 11 parts, in which he cited much of his master's Torah. (See about him in ”The Chasam Sofer and his Disciples”, pages 132-135). Size : 37 cm.
