Handwritten & Autographed long Letter Chidushei Torah by the Admor of Chechnov Rabbi Menachem Mendel Chaim Landau.
Admor Harav Menachem Mendel Chaim Landau of Chechnov (1862-1935) was the son of the Admor Harav Yaakov of Yazov and grandson of the famed Harav Avraham of Chechnov. Harav Menachem Mendel was raised in his grandfather’s home, attended to him faithfully, and learned with him daily. He was renowned as a genius in Torah and devoted himself to helping the community. In 1921, he traveled to America where he remained for nine years.It was during this period of time that he penned this letter. He subsequently returned to his native Poland where he passed away five years later. His famous works include Meikitz Nirdamim, Ateres Zekenim, Meir Einei Chachamim and others that were lost in the Holocaust.
