Letter from Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, Regarding an Agunah, New York, 1972. The last 3 lines writen and signed by Rabbi Moshe Feinstein - ”באשר שהוא עיגון גדול מאוד....” R. Moshe Feinstein (1895-1986), was born in Uzda, Belarus where his father served as Rav. Recognized as an outstanding Talmid Chochom from a very young age, he was appointed to his first rabbinical post at age 21 and as Rav of Luban a few years later. Following increased religious persecution in Soviet Russia, he immigrated to the United States. He served as Rosh Yeshiva in Mesivta Tiferes Yerusholayim where he taught hundreds of distinguished talmidim. He had a prime role in the establishment of the orthodox Jewish community in the U.S. and greatly impacted Jewry the world over. He was the preeminent Posek of his time answering thousands of Halachic questions from across the world. Includes the questions which where asked to R' Moshe Tz”l.
