Letter signed by Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis, 1945. Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis , born Snipishok, studied under Rabbi Chaim of Brisk and Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Yehuda Berlin at the Volozhin Yeshiva. Rabbi of Bocki (1894), Kalvarija (1911). In 1938 he was appointed Rosh Beis Din of the Eida Charedis, and also served as Rosh Yeshivas Ohel Moshe. In 1948 he succeeded Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Duschinski as Av Beis Din of the Eida Charedis. Author of Liflagos Reuven – seven volumes. Size : 28 x 21.5 cm Condition : Fine condition, filling holes.
