Eretz Tzvi V'Teomei Tzviah. Vienna, 1822. First Edition. Owners Signature and Hagaos of Harav Avraham Shag- Zwebner! Two elucidations on Shluchan Aruch Even HaEzer by Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch [of Brody], at the time in Kittsee, Hungary. With approbations from Rabbi Mordechai Bennet, Rabbi Moshe Sofer - the Chatam Sofer, and Rabbi Moshe Mintz. Rabbi Tzvi. Hirsch Broida (d. 1824), was one of the foremost rabbinical figures and Gaonim of his generation. He served as Rav in Seminetz and Kitzeh. He published several important seforim including ”Eretz Tzvi V'Toa’miah Tzivio” , and various others, with warm approbations of R. Mordechai Banet, the Ma’HaRaM Mintz, and R. Eliezer Fleckes. He was held in great esteem by his rabbinical contemporaries and his mentioned in Noda B’Yehuda. Upon his passing the Chasam Sofer delivered a Hesped (Derashos Chasam Sofer p 392). Rabbi Avraham Shag- Zwebner (1801- 1876) was a brilliant Torah genius and tzaddik. He was appointed rabbi of Schottelsdorf at the age of 25, and later on as rabbi of Kobersdorf.
