Letter signed by Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Plonski - Tepliker Rav! Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Plonski [1876-1948], known as 'The Tepliker Rebbe, ' was the Av Beit Din of Teplik. He was the teacher of all the leading rabbinic instructors in Jerusalem (including Rabbi David Jungreis, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Wosner, Rabbi Yisrael Ya'akov Fisher, Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef, Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv and Rabbi Binyamin Mendelsohn). His genius, wisdom and righteousness were a byword from the day he ascended to the Land, as his name preceded him as one of the most prominent adjudicators in Russia.
