Pri Hasadeh - Pnei Meivin, 1913-1915, special copy. 2 seforim in 1 volume. Admor Rabbi Refael Bloom of Kosice [d. 2005] was born in Kosice, Slovakia. Prior to the Second World War, he founded a yeshiva in Hungary. After the war, in the summer of 1945 he returned to Kosice and put forth efforts to reestablish the Jewish community. Together with other rabbis, he was able to free more than 200 agunas so that they could remarry. He wrote a noted elegy for the Holocaust victims. The Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kahana of Spinka-Humenne was the son of the Admor Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Kahana of Spinka (the son of the Orchos Chaim), and the son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Avraham, the son of the renowned tzaddik and miracle worker, Reb Yeshaye of Kerestir. Rabbi Menachem Mendel was murdered by the Nazis. His two brothers survived and served as admorim in Israel – the Admor Rabbi Nachman Kahana in Bnei Brak, and the Admor Rabbi Yosef Meir Kahana in Jerusalem.
