Letter by the Dvar Avraham, Kuvna, 1938. To the Agudas Harabanim. Rabbi Avraham Duber Kahana Shapira (1870-1943), was the last Rav of Kovno and one of the leading Talmidei Chachomim and Rabbinical leaders in Lithuania during the pre-WWII era. Renowned as a great Talmid Chochom and distinguished community leader. He passed away in the Kovno ghetto, and was perhaps the only Rav given a funeral under the watch of the Nazi occupiers. 1 page, 2 sides. Size: 23 x 15 cm Condition : Fine condition.
