Second edition, with an approbation from the author of Sha'agat Aryeh - given for this edition. R. Chaim Elazar Vachs (1822-1889), was one the greatest Rabbinical leaders in Poland. A prodigious Talmid Chochom he served as Rav of Taringrad, Kalisch and Pietrekow. He was a son-in-law of R. Shea Kutno. His magnum opus Nefesh Chaya was received to great acclaim. Father-in-law of R. Yosef of Amshinov. Condition: Overall in fine condition, repairs to last 2 pages, stains, worn binding.
