Psak Din written and signed by R' Akiva Eiger. כולו בכתי”ק, וחתימתו ”הק' עקיבא גינז מא”ש” [מאייזנשטאט] R' Akiva Eiger-Ginz (1761-1836), was born in Eisenstadt into a rabbinical family and was well known as a child prodigy. He studied in the Yeshiva of Mattersdorf, and following that in Breslau as a student of his maternal uncle R. Wolf Eiger. In 1791 he was appointed as Rav of Friedland where he remained until 1815, after which he became the Rav of Posen. He was world renowned as an outstanding Talmid Chochom, Posek and foremost leader of European Jewry during the early 19th century. Size : 14 x 19 cm Condition : Very fine condition.
