Unique item: 8 pages Divrei Torah By the ”Chavatzeles Hasharon”, with his signature. Missing the beginning. R. Dovid Menachem Munish Babad (1865-1936), was a son of R. Yehoshua Heschel Babad, Rav of Strzyzow who was his primary Rebbe. He was a son in law of R. Yoel Moshe Segal Landau Rav of Yabrov. He succeeded his father as Rav of Strzyzow in 1892, and in 1894, after the death of his father-in-law, he was appointed Rav of Yabrov. In 1911 he was appointed as Rav in Tarnopol, after which he is known. He was one of the most renowned Gaonim and Poskim of his period and received Halachic queries from far and wide. Enormously respected, he led the Agudas HaRabbonim in Galicia and he was an ardent Chassid of the Tzadikim of Belz. Pages : 2 folded leaves, 8 sides.
